Het Euro-Office-project maakt zelf installatiebestanden. Die zijn niet ondertekend: er zit geen digitale handtekening op die laat zien wie het bestand maakte. Windows en macOS waarschuwen daarom, en het project schrijft zelf dat deze builds niet bedoeld zijn voor beheerde computers.
Nextcloud, een van de deelnemers, bouwt dezelfde code en ondertekent die wel. Die versie heet Nextcloud Office. De documentatie van Euro-Office raadt haar aan voor wie de editors wil proberen of gebruiken. Wij volgen dat advies: de START-toets geeft je die versie.

Euro-Office-documentatie, Installation
De ondertekende versie, uitgegeven door Nextcloud. Na installatie heet de app Nextcloud Office.
De build van het Euro-Office-project zelf. Na installatie heet de app Euro-Office.
Voor Windows 10 en 11. De meeste pc's hebben een Intel- of AMD-processor (x64). Heb je een laptop met Snapdragon-chip, kies dan ARM.

.dmg-bestand binnen is. Het is ruim 1 GB.macOS meldt dan dat de app niet geopend kan worden omdat Apple haar niet kan controleren. Ga naar Systeeminstellingen › Privacy en beveiliging, scrol naar beneden en klik op Open toch. Doe dat alleen als het controlegetal klopt.
